​GENERAL NOTES

​

  • All parts should look in-universe as if you are part of the shows or movies.

  • Armor may be made from plastic such as sintra, 3D printed, metal, or similar durable materials.

  • Leather is permitted when appropriate.

  • Chainmail will be met with scrutiny and approved on case to case basis.

  • Overall quality: ALL parts of costume must be completed to the best of wearer's abilities.

    • (3D print lines removed to best of ability, not a sloppy paint job, soft parts fit and tailored, etc.)

      Painting and weathering should be consistent and not look out of place.

ARMOR​

HELMET

  • Helmet must be in the Mandalorian style and have the following traits:

    • T-shaped visor that obscures the wearer's face

    • Ears pieces with caps, antennaes or rangefinders

    • Indented concave cheeks

    • Rear vent

    • Full coverage and the inclusion of a neck seal, gaiter, or balaclava

  • Other styles and exceptions such as the Rook style nose piece or the Supercommando full face helm may be accepted with approval.

​TORSO​

  • Chest piece no matter the style or sub-era must be in the Mandalorian style and include an iron heart.

  • Back coverage is required. If no backplate is worn, a cape, backpack, or jetpack is required.

  • Backplates may be of multiple styles. If worn, backplates must be sized to wearer and appropriately mounted or supported.

  • Multiple piece chest styles, such as Fett style chest pieces must be correctly spaced when at a neutral pose.

  • Chest and back armor may be mounted to a vest or supported as a cuiriass

  • Shoulder armor is required and may be mounted to a vest, flight suit, or cuiriass.

  • Collar or trapezius armor is optional, but encouraged. If collar armor is not worn a cape or pauldron for neck coverage is encouraged. If worn, must be appropriately spaced in relation to chest armor, mounted to a vest or cuiriass.

  • Bicep armor and accessories are acceptable and can be of any style of star wars armor.

GAUNTLETS​

  • Gauntlets are a requirement and must be of Mandalorian style.

  • Gauntlets must fully enclose having top and bottom shells and or be of one piece construction.

LOWER BODY

  • ​Legs should be armored and have at minimum knees or shnees. Or the option of armoring both thighs and shins in lieu of knee armor.

  • Close-toe shoes with no laces are required. If laces are present, concealment with armor plating or leather gaiters is appropriate. Zippers, if present should be on side, back or hidden.

SOFT PARTS

  • A utility/gun belt is required and must be made of hide, leather, or textile and appear in-universe.

  • Belts should have at least 2 items including but not limiting to, pouches, ammo in loops, cuff holders, detonator holders, holsters, sheaths etc.

  • Flightsuits may be of one piece or 2 piece construction.

    • Flightsuits should look continuous in color and style. Seperate colors are permitted for multilayer flightsuits.

    • If wearing a 2 piece flight suit, a cummerbund, sash, or abdominal tasset must be worn to hide seam between pants and top.

  • Elements of earth construction, such as jean rivets and earthy elements should not be worn or concealed.

  • Vests should be made of a durable material to support weight of armor. Zippers are permitted for back and side entry. Side entry vests closure should be concealed or hidden

WEAPONS

  • A blaster rifle or sidearm is required. Melee weapons are subject to being approved solo pending overview of CRL team.
