MEMBERSHIP
Membership into The Watch is a different process than most traditional star wars themed clubs. First and foremost, we are a community of like minded fans and hold our tight knit community to a high regard. While below you will find that we offer a multi-tier membership format and realize that no CRL kits are required to become a fully fledged member, we do however still "approve" membership via votes. The votes come from the community at large. We much rather get to know newcomers before allowing them within our group and we have a discord server set up that allows newcomers the opportunity to get to know the community and the community get to know them. Additionally, chapters do have their own private group chat via Messenger, and this serves the same purpose as the discord server. A means to get to know newer people and communicate locally. This is the basis of our recruitment system.
For too long clubs have excluded highly loyal people on the merits of not having a CRL approved kit. Sometimes the members who aren't kitted are the most valuable! From handlers to socializing, non-kitted members play just as important a role as any other. In The Watch, we feel that membership should not be denied to these people. Establishing a multi-tier membership allows for everyone to be recognized as a member of The Watch and ensures a strong community while promoting more involvement. This is not limited to kids! Many adults who choose to cosplay also have younger children that want to participate. As a club that focuses heavily on charitable reasons aimed at children, we established membership tiers exclusively for kids to further promote a stronger community. The foundlings are the future after all.
Below you will find the membership roles which are primarily identified in our discord server, but does a good job at explaining the roles and their meaning. We hope you consider what a close knit community of like minded friends has to offer and come get to know us soon!
Alorir (Rally Master) - [AH-lor-REER] - Rally Masters or the Alorir make up the leadership circle tasked with running the clubs many functions. With the absence of a sole leader, the Rally Masters form a leadership circle with all club matters being determined by a group consensus.
Alverde (Commander) - [AHL-vair-DAY] - Commanders or Al'verde serve as the House leadership roles, heading and leading their respective Houses in all internal chapter matters. They act as the voice for the membership in contributing to club matters along with the Rally Masters.

Oriverde (Seasoned Warrior) - [OHR-ree-VAIR-day] - Ori'verde are members that have stepped up to help Al'verde in larger houses, shouldering some of the work load to keep things running smoothly.
Aloruus (Corporal) - [AH-lor-OOS] - Alor'uus are appointed by the Al'verde in order to help those seeking to join the Verde membership tier achieve CRL approved kits.

Verde (Warrior) - [Vair-DAY] - Verde is the highest non-officer membership tier in the club. They are those who have put in the efforts to achieve a CRL approved kit.

Vaktaverde (Warrior in Training) - [VAHK-tah-VAIR-day] - Vakta'verde are the second highest non-officer membership tier. This role is for those who have kits that may not be CRL approved but are troop-able. A perfect role for those who are comfortable being more of casual troopers [and there is NOTHING wrong with that.]
Vode (Tribe Member) - [VOH-day] - Vode is the beginning membership tier. They are the backbone of our club, members who may still be working on their kits or otherwise would rather be involved without building kits. They are solid community members that are recognized for their contributions both big and small to the club at large.

Adiik (Child) - [AH-deek] - Adiik are children who are under the age of 18 that have a Vode tier or higher parent in the club. They can troop with their parents in any mandalorian kit.
Aruetii (Outsider) - [AH-roo-AY-tee] - Aruetii are associates of the club that are not considered club members, or those newcomers looking to join and are in the process of getting to know the community members.
Black Marketer (Vendor) - Approved vendors will be marked as Black Marketers in the discord server.
